From Department 56's popular, original and the ONLY authentic Dickens' Village collection. VERY low number - #311/2500. This is the FIRST DATED, STAMPED, LIMITED EDITION in any Department 56 Village. Limited to 2,500 pieces. It is estimated there are only a few hundred (or less) of these Mills still in existence.

Early release to GCC (Gift Creation Concepts) dealers. A crack created during manufacturing, or "firing line or crack", can sometimes exist below the wheel and can extend underneath the structure of the building. A firing line may also appear under the shed door. THERE ARE NO FIRING CRACKS in this piece. The original box and sleeve are NOT included, unfortunately. During the early days of Department 56 retailing, many dealers threw away most of the boxes and sleeves due to space limitations and the failure to appreciate the future collectability of this product line. We were able to use a D56 box from another building with a base footprint very similar to this Mill. Some cutting of the inn Styrofoam box was required and this building fit PERFECTLY in the new box.

Obviously there is no sleeve. This D56 box was then placed in a padded, outer cardboard box. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. We received many Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, Dickens' Village, New England Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection. To list as many pieces as quickly as possible, we may just show the box/sleeve in the photos.

We absolutely promise that all the buildings and accessories list are in perfect working condition with all separate attachments included. The building is in "like new" condition without chips, cracks, repairs, or other damage. Light cord and NEW bulb are included. To ensure that you are alerted to all new items as they are listed.
